Connective
Learning:
- This
past week I learned in our chat that one of my classmates is a “Gamer” Chad
Sadsing, and he explained different websites and games he has created that
would be helpful to other classmates.
- I
really enjoyed this website : http://scratch.mit.edu by classmate Lizzy Wawrzyniak , this gave me
some ideas about what I can do with my students when it comes to math, my only
setback is not having the resources.
- I also read an article posted by Missy, which I learned that Spring City
is her hometown. I enjoyed reading how test scores soared by investing 300,00
over three years and incorporating "hybrid
learning," mixing computer time with individualized learning and
small-group instruction ---website below:

also read an article in my other class on Philadelphia schools and why they are
failing. This really hit close to home because I live this every day. (Lack of
funding, large class size ,no substitutes, massive layoffs, very little
resources, low pay)
How to Stop
Students from Cheating While Testing
1. Put a sign up stating what the consequences are when caught cheating
2. Walk around classroom and indirectly monitor students
3. Have Students Remove all book bags and coats from desk
4. Remind Students that no cell phones are allowed
5. Give students scrap paper so they do not use their own paper
6. Separate Students if all possible
7. Use different color paper so students will think that the tests are different
8. Make sure all text books are removed from desk
